Frequently Asked Softball Questions
- Players are
eligible if they are 5 yrs old before April 1st and DO
NOT TURN 20 yrs old before July 1st.
- Mandatory Evaluations – March 15 (see details below)
- If anyone
is interested in having an 8 yr old play up a level, please contact Ty
Corallo or Leon Stull.
- All players
will be contacted by April 1,
2007; if not please contact Ty Corallo or Leon
Stull.
- Practice
days/times will be determined by each coach.
- Makeup
games may be assigned on Sundays after 1:30PM.
- Teams aged
9 and above are chosen by draft.
There are NO exceptions.
- Players 9
yrs and up travel throughout Northampton County and the
Slate Belt area.
- All parents
must participate in 3 hrs of volunteer activity. This may include snack bar, youth
dances, field maintenance and umpiring.
If a parent misses their
assigned volunteer date(s), the child will not be able to participate in
the next game.
- All players,
coaches and parents may be asked to sign a code of conduct prior to the
beginning of the regular season.
MANDATORY
EVALUATIONS will be held at the Forks Community
Center
fields.
9 yr olds and
first time 10 yr olds: March 15 11am – 1pm
11 yr olds and
first time 12 yr olds: March 15 1pm – 3pm
13 and 14 yr
olds: March 15 3pm – 5pm
AND March 16 1pm
– 3pm
